Great Site for the Pagan

I discovered this site that is a great way to connect to fellow pagans of all kinds of flavors and beliefs. This site is great it has groups that you can join on it to learn things like crafts, spells, and making of tools. It has also groups to do with herbs. Check it out you won't be disapointed.

Shaman Staff

I created this staff with some instruction from the book "Witch Crafts" by Willow Polson. I had to adjust a bit because of the shape of the wood. I made it of a willow branch from a willow tree cut down in the area I lived some time ago. The rabbit fur was a gift from a cousin when I helped out at a boy scout camp and the leather was some scraps a friend let me have. The feathers are duck feathers from a park that had a load of ducks shedding probably at least enough to pack a pillow. Free feathers with no harm best way to get them. The horns for the staff are from the deer park in the Dells of Wisconsin I bought them there. The horns are cut off some of the males because they do not want the deers hurting each other by butting heads. This is pretty basic and the book has a lot of good projects. Including making your own god and goddess circlets. I also own a book that unfortunately is out of print so I don't know if you can find it but I got mine on E-bay so you might luck out. It is called, "Magical Needlework," by Dorothy Morrison. This one is more for those who like needlework like knitting, embroidery, sowing, crocheting and even those who like to quilt. All kinds of projects, they come with magical aspects, spells and ways to cleanse the materials and items used for your needlework.
